Okay, so... I'm really sorry for the terrible quality of the photos... they're so dark and you can barely see whats going on in them... I'm so sorry.
If you squint really hard and stare at the edges of the picture for a while then you'll be able to see the ring around the moon. The rings are caused by a refraction of light from ice crystals in the atmosphere... it's really cool.
And it's HUGE. If you were there you would marvel at it. Usually they are pretty small but this was gigantic.
yeah ive seen that moon rainbow its nice, like seeing a normal rainbow from real high up, not a bad shot, i think on my digi cam i had to mess about with lowering contrast brightness etc and upping contrast shutter speed and ASO ( i still dont know what that is ) then it started to focus on the moons surface rather than everything else going on, anyway i digress.
