I feel a bit blue.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner... this saturday, actually. I always feel the same around this time of year.

I'm not hating on Valentines Day - I'm not one of those people who are totally against it, saying that its "a gimmick made up by card companies". It's a day for people who are in love.

I just wish that there was a day for people who weren't or aren't in love. Like me. I don't even have a boyfriend.

My friend does though. Not - we are in this together.. I think... - a different friend. She's been with her boyfriend for just over three years. This will be their fourth Valentine's Day together. And that makes me sad - here, this person has shared a Valentine's Day four times with the same person, and I haven't shared one with one person once. It kind of sucks, seeing them together all the time, always in love and kissing and whatever... I mean, i've gotten used to it, but sometimes I get kind of jealous. Why can't I have that?

People always tell me to wait until I've graduated high school. I get that. The people I go to school with now have seen me grow up through all of my awkward stages, and the people I meet after I graduate probably have not... And yeah, I agree with that. But my friend met her now-boyfriend in grade 9! And I actually have NO doubt that they're going to get married, they are a for sure thing. This isn't high school, LG love, this is the true blue thing.

Another reason why I'm so jealous.

And then there's the whole "whats wrong with guys" thing... I don't really get it. Carnations are being sold at our school this year (as I think they are every year...) and... I'm sad because of that too. Guys who aren't in relationships don't send flowers out to girls, even if they're interested in them. This is how I find guys' minds work. So I don't expect to get any carnations this Valentine's Day... at least, not from a guy. From friends, maybe, but not a guy... If at all.

I hate being jealous.

I think this Saturday I'm just going to eat chocolate and watch love stories, feeling miserable.

Yeah, so I haven't updated my journal in a while... I thought I might as well let everyone know that I am still alive.
Also, I got tired of coming to my dA page and seeing the "Merry Christmas" greeting - it is no longer Christmas, or even December for that matter. It is nearly February... Woo!

I'm very excited for tomorrow - not only because its the Superbowl. I'm not a huge fan of football... in fact I find it pretty boring, so I'm not watching the game for the plays, or the big buff guys in skin tight leggings. I'm excited for the 3rd quarter. Can anyone guess why?

3rd Quarter is when the spot of Transformers 2 is finally released!!!! The actual trailer won't be seen until Feb. 13 (most likely in the trailers for Friday the 13th, because Bay produced it), and it won't go online "until a week later". I read that in an online article somewhere... Anyways, I'm really excited. I am going to talk to and see we can sneak in to Friday the 13th to just see the previews and then we'll go see a different movie. Its the perfect plan.

Also, I hope to be updating more TF fics, etc. It's been a busy semester thus far, but next semester will be better because I have two spares... so I should be able to have more time to at least think of things to write.

Thirdly, and I are writing our own play, a Pantomime. If anybody doesn't know what a Pantomime is, please go look it up. I don't feel like explaining. But ours is called "Blood Red and the Seven Little People (Because "White" Is Racist And "Midget" Is Politically Incorrect)". It is a spoof of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. We have half finished right now, and we're casting soon. Perhaps we'll post it up on here? We'll see what happens, it might be to difficult to post up on here. And we may sell it and get rich. Who knows?
